Her roof had collapsed, and she was without money to effect repairs. Her income is limited to Social Security, and the son who once helped her maintain her home had died four years ago. Bill Logan, outreach worker, and Diane Lopez, assistant coordinator, worked together to ease the elderly woman's home, she discovered that in addition to a roof problem, the woman also had sewer problems. The Henry County Outreach Office was contacted, and Rose Boehle, rural coordinator, secured assistance through the Henry County Senior Center to pay at least part of the cost of sewer repairs.
