Ms. J is the Head Start/Early Head Start Council Chairperson, a parent volunteer, the recipient of a PCCEO educational scholarship and a student at MidState College. "We wish we had 100 more parents just like her," says the Head Start Family Partnerships Coordinator. In addition to the time she dedicated to her job, family, and Head Start Program, Ms. J is working hard to complete her degree at MidState College in December. Programs: Community Services Block Grant(includes Peoria Area Food Bank, Media Services, Prescription Medicine Program, Scholarship Program and Small Business Assistance); Early Head Start Program; Emergency Food and Shelter; Foster Grandparents; Head Start Program; Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program; Senior Meals; Peoria Affordable Housing Initiative; Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. |
