After attending school-to-work (STW) transition workshops and taking the career survey, A.H. decided he wanted to purse a career in computer graphics. As a result of this goal, he has become motivated to attend school regularly, has talked to his guidance counselor about the local community college class offerings, and has expressed enthusiasm to his mother about his chosen career. A.H. reports that he really enjoyed the workshops and the job shadowing experience and would like to attend another job shadowing this year. The STW program has facilitated A.H. in furthering his education and becoming a contributing member of society in a field that excites him. The STW program is almost totally supported by CSBG funds.
